The Gasparilla Criterium & Cycling Festival is being held on March 29th in downtown Tampa and sponsored by Cigar City Brewing and Bright House Networks. It is one of Florida's premier cycling events. The festival features professional men’s and women’s criterium races, amateur races, and the Cycling, Multi-sport, Outdoor, Health and Wellness, Green Initiatives Expo presented SeaSucker Bicycle Racks and Reeves Import Motorcars. One of the events during this festival is the 3K Beer Dash benefiting Girls On The Run Greater Tampa Bay, presented by tbt. This fun run will take place on the criterium course and all participants will receive a complementary Cigar City Brewing beer (non-alcoholic beverage for those under 21) and a commemorative T-Shirt. Runners will also receive beer discounts at the post race Pro Criterium Watch Party!
The race will take place at 4:30pm that Saturday, March 29th at Lykes Gaslight Park (410 N. Franklin St., Tampa, FL 33602)
Price for early registration is $20 and ends March 24th. Price is $25 on site.
There will be prizes for best costume.
